IRS Wage Levy Release Fees
Sure it will cost a few of these up front. But
just think about how many of them you'll get to keep in the
future.
Most people want to know how much all this is going to cost them.
You're probably no different. Ask our competitors. In most
cases you'll get, "We'll
see. These things can never be determined beforehand."
However, we think you deserve to know what you're getting into
(as well as what you'll get) before you agree to do business
with us. We are
so confident in our ability to solve your wage levy problem that we can
tell you up front what it will cost before you agree to use us.
Please note that our main website is located at
http://www.taxnegotiations.com/
Even though the fees on this page should be accurate and
current, please understand that the fees listed on that website are kept
as the most current and will
override the fees listed on all our other websites, including
this one.
Our main negotiations consist of:
- An IRS Levy Release, mostly wage levies but the
occasional bank levy
- An IRS Installment Agreement. Monthly payments can be
made by mail or payroll deduction.
- An IRS Currently Non Collectible Status classification.
- Preparation of prior-year tax returns. This is
always required for at
least the last six years.
$995 Single Negotiation
Some people only want or need one of the first three above
$1,195 Combo Negotiation
Most people need #1 as well as either #2 or #3. Also,
lots of our clients have not filed several tax returns, so
we have to prepared those for them.
$195 Emergency Tax Return Preparation and Filing
Many of our clients also have not filed tax returns for one
or more years. IRS requires that you file those tax returns
before they will release your levy. Since we work with IRS daily
in several of their special divisions, we are allowed to fax tax
returns (with faxed signatures) to the reps we work with at IRS.
This procedure saves several weeks since the tax returns don't
have to be mailed to them.
$195 IRS SFR Tax Return replacement with actual tax returns
In many cases, if a taxpayer has not filed income tax returns
for several years, IRS has the legal ability to file a tax return
(called a Substitute For Return, or SFR) for the taxpayer. These
tax returns are designed to compute the maximum amount of income
tax possible. We prepare tax returns that actually replace the
SFRs, but only if they result in lower tax. And in almost all
cases, our tax returns are better.
$1,195 Maximum for as many federal income tax returns as
you need
No matter how many original income tax returns or SFR replacements
you need, your maximum charge for
both service will be $1,195.
Even if you need ten Emergency Tax Returns prepared, your fee
will not be $195 x 10 = $1,950, but just $1,195. We won't
double-charge you $1,195 for SFRs and $1,195 for other tax
returns, either.
$95 State Income Tax Returns up to $495 for as many as
you need
If a client hasn't filed state income tax returns, we
recommend that this be done as quickly as possible in order
to keep the state from levying paychecks, too.
$1,795 Cases where the balance owed is over $100,000
Cases that involve more than $100,000 of debt are automatically
referred to a special IRS group in Buffalo, NY. These cases
are subject to special procedures and require additional time
and handling.
$995 Cases where the clients earn a combined annual
income that exceeds $100,000
Clients who earn a combined yearly income that is greater
than $100,000 are dealt with differently by IRS and are subject
to additional reporting requirements. Since these cases are
subject to special procedures, they require additional time and
handling.
$1,795 Cases assigned to a local IRS Collection Office
and IRS Revenue Officer
Cases that have been assigned to a local IRS Collection
Office for management and collection action that have been assigned
to a specific Revenue Officer (RO) for case management can be
handled only by that RO and his/her manager. These cases are
subject to special procedures and require additional time and
handling.
$195 W-2s and 1099s and other income and expense items that
have been reported to IRS
Most people do not have all their income information and
other documents that are recorded in the IRS computer system.
Our policy is to request copies of these documents for every
single client so that we know we will not omit any income on the
tax returns we prepare. Our fee (and our competitors charge for
this service, too) for anyone who only wants this information
is a flat rate of $195 for as many years as are needed.
Customer Testimonial
I initially responded to your
website because I liked the fact that you post how much you charge and
you are blunt. NO OTHER WEBSITE DOES THAT, and I looked at a
bunch of them. I sent you an e-mail on Tuesday, spoke to one of
your consultants on Tuesday at 6 p.m., and by Wednesday at 1:00
p.m. the nightmare was over. I've been a paralegal for over 20
years, and the IRS scares me to death. I wouldn't negotiate with
an insurance company on my own behalf, and neither would I
negotiate with the IRS. THERE ARE THINGS THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED
LEGALLY TO TELL YOU, things that are of great advantage to you.
Hiring you was the best money I
ever spent.
